This volume is devoted principally to two types of airframes, namely, the "Luton" range and the Westland "Lysander I." The latter is, of course, well known as one of the most popular types of reconnaissance aeroplanes.
The descriptions of the detailed operations which are entailed in rigging and maintaining these airframes have been amplified by many specially staged action photographs and diagrams.
A special section has been devoted to general aids to airframe maintenance.
The book concludes with some practical hints on " Fabric Covering," a subject which is of general interest to ground engineers who are servicing all types of aeroplanes.
